The Guidelines for Developing School Codes of Behaviour will have a direct impact on how schools develop their School Codes of Behaviour and therefore a significant impact on students.

NEWB is consulting with young people to ensure that the experience and perspective of pupils and students in different kinds of schools across the country is reflected in the way the Guidelines are developed and used.

The results of this consultation will assist the NEWB, schools and teachers in further understanding behaviour from a young persons perspective and will help in the implementation of the Guidelines.
